Seminar in Bauska

On 29 and 30 November 2016 in Bauska, during the project “Information Centre for Immigrants”, the association “Shelter ‘Safe House’” organised a seminar for an inter-professional group about working with non-member country citizens. The main purpose of the seminar was for various professionals to develop competence in cross-cultural communication and improve knowledge about non-member country citizens, particularly about issues in regions of Latvia concerning accepting and integrating refugees, persons with an alternative status an asylum seekers, while ensuring the formation and development of inter-disciplinary and inter-constitutional teams.
