In the next two and a half years, the “Information Centre for Newcomers” will support the process of integration of third country nationals in Latvia, and will also launch an educational campaign

In the next thirty months, the “Information Centre for Newcomers” will continue to support the process of integration of third country nationals in Latvian society.

Also, in order to contribute to the reduction of different prejudices against representatives of other races, cultures or ethnicities, the Information Centre for Newcomers will develop a state-of-the-art and modern audio-visual educational campaign in the media environment.

It will be composed of exciting podcasts with life stories of different third-country nationals, as well as video series on integration challenges of third-country nationals in Latvia, as well as news that will acquaint the general public with professional everyday life of the Information Centre for Newcomers.

The activity of the Information Center for Newcomers within the framework of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund is ensured and developed by the NGO “Shelter “Safe House””. The centre is co-funded by the European Union. Grant Agreement No. PMIF/12/2020/3/01.
