Advisory Council meeting, 20.06.

On 20 June 2016 an Advisory Council meeting about the integration of non-member country citizens was held on the premises of the association “Shelter ‘Safe House’”. The members of the council discussed the operation of the newly founded Integration Centre for Immigrants in person and the activities planned for 2017 and 2018 for integrating non-member country citizens. After the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to join the World Refugee Day celebration and a pre-summer Solstice event organised by the Arabic Culture Centre in Latvia along with the non-governmental organisations “Creative association for youth TREPES”, “Shelter ‘Safe House’” and “Brīvprātības platformas fonds” (“Volunteer Platform Fund”). The project “Information Centre for Immigrants” co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.Grant Agreement No.PMIF/12/2016/1/1.
